The Plan
The plan is real simple...kind of. First sell everything that I own and do not absolutely need like my car, fish tank, tvs, game systems, dvds, but cant sell my jeep love it too much probably be put into storage. Step two buy a van, a big van. Step three pimp it out I'm talking shag carpet, mini disco ball, turn table bed, big subs and speakers cool hippy paint job on the outside. Step four move out of my apartment and start saving money by living in the van.
For this to actually happen the van will need to be a mini functional house. This will require a sleeping area along with a kitchen with a stove, sink, and fridge I am not going to over look a place to go the bathroom which will require a toilet for when I just can't access a public restroom. All this sounds good so far but as I have been looking into this this will require extra 12v batteries, clean water storage tanks along with waste water storage tanks for gray and black water, and propane gas storage for the stove. Also if you want to be able to live in a van very long you have to blend in so pretty much a crazy paint job is out of the question want to be as simple and delivery van looking as possible.
Eventually I would like to move some where different some where cooler I figure once it starts getting hot in the valley after I move into my van in December. When it gets hot Im first going to move near Eureka California and live there a while and see how I like it.
So far this blog is more about my ideas but in the future I will be talking about what and how I am doing in the van build then once I begin living in the van tell more about what my new life is like

The Change
I have now been living in the big city for 5 years and have grown to HATE it, its too hot, people are mean, tons of traffic, and for what? I have the same routine Monday thru Friday wake up, drive to work, work for eight hours, drive home, make dinner, play with my puppy and go to bed. I am just plain bored of this life and have been dreaming of more.
Recently I had the chance to take a road trip through California with my cousin and loved it. Every thing was new and exciting, San Francisco was a little overwhelming but exciting non the less. After San Fran we were greated with giant red wood trees, awesome ocean views, tons of rivers and streams, deer and Big Foot! Ok so there was no Big Foot but you never know. Arriving at our destination we met up with my cousin who lives near Eureka who so kindly let us stay with him and was our personal tour guide for the 5 days we were there. We did a lot of hiking up and down rivers, along the coast and in parks all around the city all gourgeous even the city doesn't feel dirty and grimey like the phoenix metro area, the wheather was beautiful the people seemed friendlier and happier. I just felt comfortable. The days flew by before we knew it our 5 days were up and it was time to drive home.
Now back in the city my hatred for it has grown I need to get some freedom this routine is a trap add in huge debt that most people in this world will aquire houses, fancy cars, fancy toys and it makes it imposible to escape this trap and I don't want this to happen to me. I have now come up with a plan...
